【話題之作】《KAWS:HOLIDAY》第五站是——太空！
繼首爾、台北、香港和日本後，大家都很好奇《KAWS:HOLIDAY》第五站將會在哪裡舉辦，而答案就在今早宣布，竟然是太空！
繼續和 AllRightsReserved 聯手合作，這次巨型 COMPANION 選擇在太空和大家見面。穿上太空衣的 #COMPANION 乘搭探空氣球以超高速上升至 136,296 呎高空的平流層，再以無重狀態於太空漫遊兩個多小時，最後返回地球，完成歷時約 8 小時的太空探索之旅，為 COMPANION 誕生20週年留下難忘回憶！
KAWS in collaboration with AllRightsReserved presents KAWS:HOLIDAY SPACE to mark COMPANION’s 20th anniversary and invites all of us to embark on an outer space journey with COMPANION together.
COMPANION dons on a spacesuit and gets ready for the space mission. The space journey took about 8 hours for preparation, lift-off, departure to landing.
KAWS is always thinking about what sculpture can be. “I wanted to create one that could be experienced safely from home. Because this year marks 20 years since I created COMPANION, I tried to find a way around all the restrictions and do something special. I felt so confined the past few months that creating a project like this has really given me a chance to escape.”
《KAWS:HOLIDAY》登陸太空！
KAWS與AllRightsReserved攜手合作，展開新一趟《KAWS:HOLIDAY》太空站旅程，穿上太空衣的COMPANION穿越大氣層，與世界各地的朋友一起遠離地球繁囂，以無重狀態在太空漫遊，完成這趟由準備升空、啟程至降落歷時約8小時的太空之旅，記錄COMPANION誕生20週年。
KAWS時常為藝術作品發掘無限可能性，他表示：「今年有很多項目取消了，我希望創造一項大家可以安坐家中安全地感受和體會的作品。今年是我創造COMPANION 20週年，我覺得要在有限的環境當中做出特別的事情。過去的幾個月，我好像被抑壓著，投入創作這次《KAWS:HOLIDAY SPACE》，確實給我一個釋放、逃離的機會。」
